½ cup (125 mL) Rogers Porridge Oats & Ancient Grains | |
½ cup (125 mL) strawberry kefir | |
½ cup (125 mL) skim milk (or alternative beverage of your choice) | |
1 cup (250 mL) frozen berries (blend of strawberries, cherries, blackberries and blueberries) | |
1 whole banana, sliced | |
½ cup (125 mL) ice cubes | |
juice of ½ fresh lime |
1. | In a blender, add Rogers Porridge Oats & Ancient Grains and blend into a fine flour. |
2. | Transfer flour into a 2 cup (500 mL) wide mouth Mason jar. |
3. | Add kefir and milk to flour in Mason jar, stir well with a spoon. |
4. | Refrigerate oat mixture in Mason jar for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight. |
5. | In a blender, add the frozen berries, banana, ice cubes, lime juice and mix. Add the refrigerated oat mixture and blend well. |
6. | Serve in 2 glasses (makes two 250 mL servings) and enjoy immediately! |
