Fluffy biscuits layered with whipped cream and fresh Canadian strawberries.
1. | Preheat the oven to 400°F. |
2. | Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. |
3. | Beat the egg and milk together, then pour them into the flour mixture. Stir just until combined. |
4. | Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. |
5. | Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly. |
6. | Layer with sugared strawberries and whipped cream for a festive red-and-white dessert |
