Ingredients

1 cup Rogers Foods All Purpose Flour
1 cup Rogers Foods Large Flake Oats
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 to 4 tbsp water, as needed

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.In a medium bowl, combine Rogers All Purpose Flour and Rogers Large Flake Oats.
3.Add applesauce, egg, coconut oil, and cinnamon.
4.Mix until a dough forms, adding water 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.
5.Roll the dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
6.Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 22 to 28 minutes, until dry and crisp.

9.NOTE: 1. Let treats cool completely before freezing. 2. Store in an airtight freezer bag or container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Or store in the freezer. 3. Separate layers with parchment paper so they don’t stick together and place in an airtight container. If you have a FoodSaver machine, gently remove air from the bags and freeze. 4. Take out the number of treats you need and let them thaw at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before giving to your dog. 5. IMPORTANT: Always introduce new treats gradually and check with your veterinarian if your dog has allergies, sensitivities, or special dietary needs.
