2 cups Rogers all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp. fine sea salt
2 cups buttermilk, hot
1 cup all-vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare three 6 inch round cake pans with baking spray.
2.In a large mixing bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3.Add in the buttermilk, oil, and vanilla extract and whisk together until fully combined.
4.Divide the batter evenly into the cake pans and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs.
5.Allow the cake pans to cool for 10 minutes and then invert on a cooling rack to fully cool.
