
| 1 1/3 cups ROGERS NO ADDITIVE or ALL PURPOSE FLOUR | |
| 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed | |
| 1/4 cup sugar | |
| 3/4 cup margarine | |
| 1 cup ROGERS LARGE FLAKE OATS | |
| 1/2 cup chopped nuts | |
| 1 80z pkg. cream cheese, softened | |
| 1 egg | |
| 3 tbsp. lemon juice | |
| 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel | 
A refreshing, cheesy bar.
| 1. | Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C). Prepare 9″ x 13″ baking pan. | 
| 2. | Stir together flour and sugars in medium bowl. | 
| 3. | Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats and nuts. | 
| 4. | Reserve 3/4 cup crumb mixture. | 
| 5. | Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. | 
| 6. | Beat cream cheese, egg, juice and peel in a small mixing bowl at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Pour over crust and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. | 
| 7. | Return to oven and bake another 25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into bars. |
