Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups ROGERS 5 GRAIN GRANOLA (any flavour)
1 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Loaded with cereal, nuts and fruit, these chewy bars are great portable snacks.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2.In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add peanut butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup and stir until smooth.
3.Remove from heat and add vanilla, Rogers 5 Grain Granola, almonds and cranberries and stir until well coated. Pack into greased 9″ (2L) square cake pan and bake for 15 – 20 minutes.
4.Do not overbake.
5.Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. When melted, spread chocolate evenly over the top. Cut into bars while slightly warm.
