Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350F (180C)
2.Combine first 6 ingredients and walnuts if using. Mix well and set aside.
3.Cream margarine and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time and vanilla. Mix well.
4.Sitr in dry ingredients into creamed mixture to produce thick batter..
5.Spread batter into a prepared 8 inch square pan
