2 cups ROGERS NO ADDITIVE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR | |
1tbsp. baking powder | |
1/2 tsp. salt | |
1/3 cup sugar | |
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon | |
1/4 tsp. cloves | |
1/2 tsp. nutmeg | |
1/2 cup butter | |
1 cup bun mix | |
3/4 cup milk |
1. | Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare baking sheet. |
2. | Combine ROGERS NO ADDITIVE/ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, baking powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in bun mix. Add milk to dry ingredients all at once and stir to combine. The batter will be quite sticky. |
3. | Using a tablespoon, scoop out dough and form into a round ball about 1 1/2 in. Place on cookie sheet then flatten slightly with a fork. |
4. | Bake for 10 minutes then cool on cooling rack. |
5. | Optional: Drizzle with glaze made with icing sugar and lemon juice. |
