Ingredients

2 cups ROGERS LARGE FLAKE OATS
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup skim milk powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 egg
2 tbsp. cold water
1/2 cup glazed cherries, chopped
A good cookie for a wheat free diet.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
2.In a large bowl combine oat flakes, brown sugar, skim milk powder, vegetable oil, salt, vanilla, coconut and chopped walnuts.
3.In a small bowl, beat together egg and cold water. Add to oat flake mixture and stir well. Add cherries.
4.Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheets.
5.Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let stand on baking sheets 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack
