1 tsp baking powder | |
1 tsp baking soda | |
1/2 tsp salt | |
1/2 cup vegetable oil | |
1/2 cup sugar | |
2 eggs | |
1 cup mashed banana | |
1 1/4 cups Rogers Hazelnuts & Honey 5 Grain Granola |
A moist and delicious granola topped loaf.
1. | Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. |
2. | Beat together vegetable oil, sugar and eggs. Stir in mashed banana. Add dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Gently stir in 1 cup Rogers Hazelnuts & Honey granola. |
3. | Turn batter into a greased 8 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ (1.5 L) loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup granola over the loaf and press down lightly. Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then remove to rack to cool completely. |
