1 1/2 cups warm milk, 375 mL | |
3 tbsp. oil, 45mL | |
1 tsp. salt, 5 mL | |
3 cups ROGERS White Bread Flour or ROGERS All Purpose, 750 mL | |
3/4 cup ROGERS Oat Bran, 180 mL | |
1 1/2 tsp. Instant Yeast 7 mL |
1. | Pre warm cold milk, till tepid, about 45 seconds in microwave. Put ingredients into bread machine in order given. |
2. | If making by hand blend all ingredients and knead dough for 10 minutes. |
3. | Use Dough cycle. When dough is ready, divide into 2 balls. Flatten balls to about 8-inch diameter and 1 inch high. Sprinkle oat bran onto cookie sheets and place flattened loaves. Let dough rise about 45 minutes, till double in height. Bake at 375 F (190 C) for 18 minutes or golden in colour. |
4. | When baked, remove loaves from cookie sheet and cool on cooling racks. |
5. | For a standard loaf, you can bake loaf on Basic Cycle. |
