Porridge Oats + Healthy Grains are used to make this hybrid treat. Make a batch ahead of time and freeze for a rainy day... you may need it.
1. | Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 10 x 16” cookie sheet with parchment paper. |
2. | Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fully incorporated. Add vanilla and mix. |
3. | In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture and mix until combined. |
4. | Spread 75% of the cookie dough on cookie sheet. Set aside. |
5. | Melt butter in a pot until bubbling and remove from heat. Add chocolate and stir gently until melted. |
6. | Pour the chocolate over the dough and spread evenly. |

Flatten remaining dough into various shapes and randomly place on top of chocolate layer. |
8. | Bake in oven for 17-20 minutes, until just brown |
9. | Let cool and set in fridge for an hour for easy cutting. |
